“There are similarities in the use or function on behalf of Prime Transformer Hasbro products and Asus. Name is associated with the Hasbro toy robot and could confuse consumers,” said Hasbro.

In its decision, as reported by Cnet, Wednesday (03/28/2012) Hasbro said the trial judge failed to prove this naming can cause consumer confusion.

“Hasbro is also unable to explain how its products could be harmed if the Prime Transformer tablet sales continued,” the judge said.
