Asus Eee Pad Transformer with Android 3.1

Asus Eee Pad Transformer is the first Honeycomb tablet that was produce by Asus. As the first PC maker ASUS brought some new perspective to the game which is dominated by players from the smartphone industry. This tablet is a more complete Android-based tablet PC with Android 3.1 Honeycomb-based and NVIDIA’s powerful dual core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor with 1GB of RAM and 16 – 32GB of internal storage with full support for Adobe Flash and full 1080p HD video playback.

This tablet sale in Taiwan between $500 and $700, making it the cheapest Honeycomb tablet on the market today. To solves the criticisms of tablets about hampering on-screen keyboards, this Asus tablet offering the full keyboard attachment, with doubles the battery life of the slim tablet to up to 16 hours. The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer using a 10.1″ high-definition (1280×800) touchscreen display, which can be used a full QWERTY keyboard that makes it like a PC netbook.

Because of the high interest in purchasing tablet Transformers, Asus claims they current tablet become very rare in the market, but the news was denied by Asus that reportedly occurred due to lack of supply scarcity component for their Android tablet. Said a spokesman for Asus David Chang,as reported by Eye Tech “Asus will boost the production of tablets Transformers. Rate the current production of 100,000 is expected in May will be doubled with 200,000 or more,”

Available for pre-order in Taiwan, the Transformer is scheduled to go onsale in the U.K. and then be available in the U.S with standard 10-inch ASUS netbooks, at $399.
